Dollar General reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 2, 2020.
In 2018, six executives at Dollar General received on average a compensation package of $3.9M, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Todd J. Vasos, Chief Executive Officer, received $11M in total, which increased by 20% compared to 2017. 36% of Vasos' compensation, or $3.8M, was in stock awards. Vasos also received $1.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $3.8M in option awards, $1.2M in salary, as well as $98K in other compensation.
John W. Garratt, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.6M, which increased by 5% compared to previous year. 27% of the compensation package, or $707K, was in salary.
Jeffery C. Owen, Executive Vice President, Store Operations, earned $2.6M in 2018, a 2% increase compared to previous year.
Jason S. Reiser, Executive Vice President & Chief Merchandising Officer, received $2.5M in 2018.
Robert D. Ravener, Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer, earned $2.5M in 2018, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
Rhonda M. Taylor, General Counsel, received $2.4M in 2018, which decreases by 3% compared to 2017.
Dollar General's fiscal year ends on January 28.
