DTE Energy reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 17, 2022.
In 2021, five DTE Energy executives received on average a compensation package of $5M, a 8% decrease compared to previous year.
Gerardo Norcia, Chief Executive Officer, received $11M in total, which increased by 5% compared to 2020. 59% of Norcia's compensation, or $6.5M, was in stock awards. Norcia also received $1.1M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.3M in salary, as well as $220K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $136,472 at DTE Energy. Therefore, the ratio of Gerardo Norcia's pay to the median employee pay was 82 to one.
David E. Meador, Chief Administrative Officer, received a compensation package of $4.8M, which decreased by 5% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $1.9M, was in stock awards.
Trevor F. Lauer, Chief Operating Officer, earned $3.3M in 2021, which is about the same as previous year.
David Ruud, Chief Financial Officer, received $3.2M in 2021, which increases by 33% compared to 2020.
Mark W. Stiers, Chief Operating Officer, earned $2.5M in 2021.
