Duke Energy CEO Lynn Good's 2018 pay falls 35% to $14M

Duke Energy reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 21, 2019.
In 2018, five executives at Duke Energy received on average a compensation package of $5.4M, a 28% decrease compared to previous year.
Lynn J. Good, Chief Executive Officer, received $14M in total, which decreased by 35% compared to 2017. 71% of Good's compensation, or $9.9M, was in stock awards. Good also received $189K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $2.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.4M in salary, as well as $302K in other compensation.
Dhiaa M. Jamil, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $4M, which decreased by 20% compared to previous year. 54% of the compensation package, or $2.2M, was in stock awards.
Steven K. Young, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.1M in 2018, a 8% decrease compared to previous year.
Lloyd M. Yates, Executive Vice President, Customer and Delivery Operations and President, Carolinas Region, received $3M in 2018, which decreases by 19% compared to 2017.
Julia S. Janson, Chief Legal Officer, earned $2.7M in 2018, a 28% decrease compared to previous year.
