DURECT reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 26, 2019.
In 2018, five DURECT executives received on average a compensation package of $736K, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
James E. Brown, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.1M in total, which increased by 18% compared to 2017. 50% of Brown's compensation, or $531K, was in salary. Brown also received $95K in non-equity incentive plan, $413K in option awards, as well as $25K in other compensation.
Matthew J. Hogan, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $811K, which increased by 53% compared to previous year. 57% of the compensation package, or $462K, was in option awards.
Felix Theeuwes, Chairman, earned $750K in 2018, a 35% increase compared to previous year.
Michael H. Arenberg, Chief Financial Officer, received $559K in 2018, which increases by 5% compared to 2017.
Judy R. Joice, Senior Vice President, Operations and Corporate Quality, earned $498K in 2018, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
