DURECT reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 23, 2021.
In 2020, four DURECT executives received on average a compensation package of $687K, a 11% decrease compared to previous year.
James E. Brown, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.1M in total, which decreased by 11% compared to 2019. 48% of Brown's compensation, or $539K, was in salary. Brown also received $200K in non-equity incentive plan, $358K in option awards, as well as $36K in other compensation.
Michael H. Arenberg, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $652K, which increased by 18% compared to previous year. 55% of the compensation package, or $357K, was in salary.
Judy R. Joice, Senior Vice President, Operations and Corporate Quality, earned $542K in 2020, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Norman L. Sussman, Chief Medical Officer, received $419K in 2020.
