DURECT reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 25, 2022.
In 2021, four DURECT executives received on average a compensation package of $783K, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
James E. Brown, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.2M in total, which increased by 4% compared to 2020. 47% of Brown's compensation, or $555K, was in salary. Brown also received $268K in non-equity incentive plan, $320K in option awards, as well as $36K in other compensation.
Norman L. Sussman, Chief Medical Officer, received a compensation package of $723K, which increased by 73% compared to previous year. 55% of the compensation package, or $401K, was in salary.
Michael H. Arenberg, Chief Financial Officer, earned $670K in 2021, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Judy R. Joice, Senior Vice President, Operations and Corporate Quality Assurance, received $558K in 2021, which increases by 3% compared to 2020.
