EchoStar reported fiscal year 2012 executive compensation information on March 20, 2013.
In 2012, seven EchoStar executives received on average a compensation package of $1.4M, a 43% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael T. Dugan, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.3M in total, which increased by 430% compared to 2011. 81% of Dugan's compensation, or $3.5M, was in option awards. Dugan also received $750K in salary, $342 in stock awards, as well as $68K in other compensation.
David J. Rayner, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.5M, which increased by 68% compared to previous year. 54% of the compensation package, or $1.4M, was in option awards.
Pradman P. Kaul, President, Hughes Communications, Inc, earned $1.6M in 2012, a 86% increase compared to previous year.
Dean A. Manson, General Counsel, received $542K in 2012, which increases by 97% compared to 2011.
Mark W. Jackson, President, EchoStar Technologies L.L.C, earned $504K in 2012, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
Kenneth G. Carroll, Executive Vice President, Corporate and Business Development, received $467K in 2012, which decreases by 75% compared to 2011.
Charles W. Ergen, Chairman, earned $23K in 2012, a 100% decrease compared to previous year.
