EchoStar reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on March 18, 2020.
In 2019, five EchoStar executives received on average a compensation package of $2.2M, a 56% increase compared to previous year.
Michael T. Dugan, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.5M in total, which increased by 26% compared to 2018. 40% of Dugan's compensation, or $1M, was in option awards. Dugan also received $26K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $478K in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $22K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $104,923 at EchoStar. Therefore, the ratio of Michael T. Dugan's pay to the median employee pay was 24 to one.
Pradman P. Kaul, President, Hughes Communications, Inc, received a compensation package of $2.5M, which increased by 46% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $1M, was in option awards.
David J. Rayner, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.1M in 2019, a 72% increase compared to previous year.
Anders N. Johnson, Chief Strategy Officer and President, EchoStar Satellite Services, received $2M in 2019, which increases by 82% compared to 2018.
Dean A. Manson, General Counsel, earned $1.9M in 2019, a 88% increase compared to previous year.
