Ecolab reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 19, 2021.
In 2020, five Ecolab executives received on average a compensation package of $7.7M, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
Douglas M. Baker, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $17M in total, which decreased by 15% compared to 2019. 33% of Baker's compensation, or $5.6M, was in stock awards. Baker also received $4.6M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $5.2M in option awards, $1.3M in salary, as well as $123K in other compensation.
Machiel Duijser, Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, received a compensation package of $7.1M. 42% of the compensation package, or $3M, was in stock awards.
Christophe Beck, Chief Operating Officer, earned $6.4M in 2020, a 32% increase compared to previous year.
Daniel J. Schmechel, Chief Financial Officer, received $5.7M in 2020, which increases by 8% compared to 2019.
Elizabeth A. Simermeyer, Executive Vice President and President – Global Healthcare and Life Sciences, earned $2.5M in 2020.
