Equifax reported fiscal year 2006 executive compensation information on March 30, 2007.
In 2006, seven Equifax executives received on average a compensation package of $2.5M.
Richard F. Smith, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.1M in total. 32% of Smith's compensation, or $2.3M, was in stock awards. Smith also received $520K in bonus, $156K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.9M in non-equity incentive plan, $458K in option awards, $1.3M in salary, as well as $528K in other compensation.
