Essent Group reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 25, 2022.
In 2021, six executives at Essent Group received on average a compensation package of $3.7M, a 35% increase compared to previous year.
Mark A. Casale, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.1M in total, which increased by 35% compared to 2020. 60% of Casale's compensation, or $5.5M, was in stock awards. Casale also received $2.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $925K in salary, as well as $322K in other compensation.
Jeff R. Cashmer, Former Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer, received a compensation package of $3.3M, which increased by 76% compared to previous year. 55% of the compensation package, or $1.8M, was in other compensation.
Christopher G. Curran, President, Essent Guaranty, Inc, earned $2.6M in 2021, a 57% increase compared to previous year.
Mary Lourdes Gibbons, Chief Legal Officer, received $2.5M in 2021.
Vijay Bhasin, Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, earned $2.3M in 2021, a 26% increase compared to previous year.
Lawrence E. McAlee, Chief Financial Officer, received $2.2M in 2021, which increases by 50% compared to 2020.
