Everest Re Group reported fiscal year 2011 executive compensation information on April 9, 2012.
In 2011, five executives at Everest Re Group received on average a compensation package of $3.8M, a 31% increase compared to previous year.
Joseph V. Taranto, Chief Executive Officer, received $10M in total, which increased by 54% compared to 2010. 63% of Taranto's compensation, or $6.6M, was in stock awards. Taranto also received $1.4M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $222K in other compensation.
Dominic J. Addesso, President, received a compensation package of $3.3M, which increased by 69% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $1.3M, was in stock awards.
John P. Doucette, Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, earned $2.1M in 2011.
Mark S. de Saram, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.9M in 2011, which increases by 1% compared to 2010.
Sanjoy Mukherjee, General Counsel, earned $1.3M in 2011, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
