Everest Re Group reported fiscal year 2012 executive compensation information on April 10, 2013.
In 2012, six executives at Everest Re Group received on average a compensation package of $5M, a 31% increase compared to previous year.
Joseph V. Taranto, Chief Executive Officer, received $17M in total, which increased by 67% compared to 2011. 68% of Taranto's compensation, or $12M, was in stock awards. Taranto also received $1.3M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $197K in other compensation.
Dominic J. Addesso, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $4.8M, which increased by 44% compared to previous year. 43% of the compensation package, or $2.1M, was in stock awards.
John P. Doucette, Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, earned $2.2M in 2012, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Mark S. de Saram, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.1M in 2012, which increases by 9% compared to 2011.
Craig Howie, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.9M in 2012.
Sanjoy Mukherjee, General Counsel, received $1.4M in 2012, which increases by 16% compared to 2011.
