Express reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on May 1, 2020.
In 2019, seven Express executives received on average a compensation package of $2.2M, a 20% decrease compared to previous year.
Timothy Baxter, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.1M in total. 41% of Baxter's compensation, or $2.9M, was in option awards. Baxter also received $1.8M in bonus, $635K in salary, $1.5M in stock awards, as well as $181K in other compensation.
John J. Rafferty, Former Executive Vice President, Planning and Allocation, received a compensation package of $1.8M, which increased by 34% compared to previous year. 59% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in other compensation.
Matthew Moellering, Chief Executive Officer, earned $1.6M in 2019, a 27% decrease compared to previous year.
Malissa Akay, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, received $1.4M in 2019.
Douglas Tilson, Former Executive Vice President, Real Estate, earned $1.4M in 2019.
Sara Tervo, Chief Marketing Officer, received $1.1M in 2019.
Periclis Pericleous, Chief Financial Officer, earned $936K in 2019, a 18% decrease compared to previous year.
Express' fiscal year ends on January 28.
