Express CEO Timothy Baxter's 2021 pay jumps 183% to $6.6M

Express reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 29, 2022.
In 2021, five Express executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, a 155% increase compared to previous year.
Timothy Baxter, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.6M in total, which increased by 183% compared to 2020. 39% of Baxter's compensation, or $2.6M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Baxter also received $650K in bonus, $1M in salary, $2.1M in stock awards, as well as $294K in other compensation.
Matthew Moellering, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3.8M, which increased by 160% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $1.5M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Malissa Akay, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, earned $2.6M in 2021, a 157% increase compared to previous year.
Sara Tervo, Chief Marketing Officer, received $2.1M in 2021, which increases by 158% compared to 2020.
Periclis Pericleous, Chief Financial Officer, earned $968K in 2021, a 41% increase compared to previous year.
Express' fiscal year ends on January 28.
