FedEx CEO Frederick Smith's 2018 pay rises 7% to $17M

FedEx reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on August 13, 2018.
In 2018, five FedEx executives received on average a compensation package of $8.7M, a 18% increase compared to previous year.
Frederick W. Smith, Chief Executive Officer, received $17M in total, which increased by 7% compared to 2017. 46% of Smith's compensation, or $7.7M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Smith also received $7.1M in option awards, $1.3M in salary, as well as $533K in other compensation.
David J. Bronczek, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $8.2M, which increased by 21% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $3.8M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Alan B. Graf, Jr, Chief Financial Officer, earned $6.5M in 2018, a 18% increase compared to previous year.
Robert B. Carter, Executive Vice President, FedEx Information Services and Chief Information Officer, received $6.3M in 2018, which increases by 6% compared to 2017.
David L. Cunningham, JR, Chief Executive Officer, earned $6M in 2018.
FedEx's fiscal year ends on May 31.
