FibroGen reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 23, 2019.
In 2018, three FibroGen executives received on average a compensation package of $5.8M, a 33% increase compared to previous year.

Thomas B. Neff, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.2M in total, which increased by 30% compared to 2017. 41% of Neff's compensation, or $3.8M, was in stock awards. Neff also received $848K in non-equity incentive plan, $3.7M in option awards, $875K in salary, as well as $23K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $212,858 at FibroGen. Therefore, the ratio of Thomas B. Neff's pay to the median employee pay was 43 to one.
K. Peony Yu, Chief Medical Officer, received a compensation package of $4.5M, which increased by 44% compared to previous year. 41% of the compensation package, or $1.9M, was in option awards.
Pat Cotroneo, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.6M in 2018, a 29% increase compared to previous year.
