Flowers Foods reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 12, 2022.
In 2021, five executives at Flowers Foods received on average a compensation package of $2.8M, which is about the same as previous year.
A. Ryals McMullian, Chief Executive Officer, received $6M in total, which increased by 18% compared to 2020. 60% of McMullian's compensation, or $3.6M, was in stock awards. McMullian also received $38K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $896K in salary, as well as $104K in other compensation.
R. Steve Kinsey, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.4M, which decreased by 12% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in stock awards.
Bradley K. Alexander, Chief Operating Officer, earned $2.3M in 2021, a 11% decrease compared to previous year.
D. Keith Wheeler, Chief Sales Officer, received $1.7M in 2021, which decreases by 12% compared to 2020.
H. Mark Courtney, Chief Brand Officer, earned $1.3M in 2021, a 6% decrease compared to previous year.
Flowers Foods' fiscal year ends on January 1.
