General Mills reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on August 13, 2018.
In 2018, six executives at General Mills received on average a compensation package of $4.1M, a 10% decrease compared to previous year.
Jeffrey L. Harmening, Chief Executive Officer, received $8M in total, which increased by 72% compared to 2017. 38% of Harmening's compensation, or $3M, was in stock awards. Harmening also received $854K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.7M in option awards, $1.2M in salary, as well as $87K in other compensation.
Kendall J. Powell, Chairman, received a compensation package of $4.6M, which decreased by 50% compared to previous year. 66% of the compensation package, or $3M, was in stock awards.
Donal L. Mulligan, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.7M in 2018, a 20% decrease compared to previous year.
Jonathon J. Nudi, Group President, received $3.1M in 2018.
Richard C. Allendorf, General Counsel, earned $2.9M in 2018, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
John R. Church, Chief Supply Chain & GBS Officer, received $2.2M in 2018, which decreases by 15% compared to 2017.
General Mills' fiscal year ends on May 30.
