Genpact reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 10, 2019.
In 2018, five Genpact executives received on average a compensation package of $6.2M, a 189% increase compared to previous year.
N.v. Tyagarajan, Chief Executive Officer, received $22M in total, which increased by 608% compared to 2017. 78% of Tyagarajan's compensation, or $17M, was in option awards. Tyagarajan also received $960K in non-equity incentive plan, $700K in salary, $3.1M in stock awards, as well as $79K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $29,393 at Genpact. Therefore, the ratio of N.v. Tyagarajan's pay to the median employee pay was 759 to one.
Edward J. Fitzpatrick, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.4M, which decreased by 6% compared to previous year. 52% of the compensation package, or $1.3M, was in stock awards.
Piyush Mehta, Chief Human Resources Officer, earned $2.1M in 2018, a 28% increase compared to previous year.
