Torchmark reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 17, 2021.
In 2020, six Torchmark executives received on average a compensation package of $5.1M, a 6% increase compared to previous year.

Gary L. Coleman, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.2M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2019. 36% of Coleman's compensation, or $3.3M, was in stock awards. Coleman also received $1.9M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $810K in non-equity incentive plan, $2M in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $40K in other compensation.
Larry M. Hutchison, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $8.4M, which increased by 1% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $3.3M, was in stock awards.
Frank M. Svoboda, Chief Financial Officer, earned $4.3M in 2020, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
W. Michael Pressley, Chief Investment Officer, received $3.4M in 2020, which is about the same as previous year.
J. Matthew Darden, Executive Vice President Chief Strategy Officer, earned $3M in 2020, a 16% increase compared to previous year.
Steven K. Greer, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.6M in 2020, which increases by 11% compared to 2019.
