Goldman Sachs Group reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 19, 2021.
In 2020, five executives at Goldman Sachs Group received on average a compensation package of $17M, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
David M. Solomon, Chief Executive Officer, received $24M in total, which decreased by 3% compared to 2019. 71% of Solomon's compensation, or $17M, was in stock awards. Solomon also received $4.7M in bonus, $192 of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $2M in salary, as well as $254K in other compensation.
John E. Waldron, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $22M, which decreased by 2% compared to previous year. 60% of the compensation package, or $13M, was in stock awards.
Stephen M. Scherr, Chief Financial Officer, earned $19M in 2020, a 4% decrease compared to previous year.
John F.W. Rogers, EVP, received $11M in 2020, which increases by 4% compared to 2019.
Karen P. Seymour, General Counsel, earned $9M in 2020, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
