Greif reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on January 11, 2019.
In 2018, five Greif executives received on average a compensation package of $4.5M, a 91% increase compared to previous year.
Peter G. Watson, Chief Executive Officer, received $10M in total, which increased by 122% compared to 2017. 47% of Watson's compensation, or $4.8M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Watson also received $1.6M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1M in salary, $2.7M in stock awards, as well as $13K in other compensation.
Lawrence A. Hilsheimer, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $4.6M, which increased by 72% compared to previous year. 49% of the compensation package, or $2.2M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Gary R. Martz, General Counsel, earned $3.6M in 2018, a 53% increase compared to previous year.
Michael Cronin, Senior Vice President and Group President, received $2.5M in 2018, which increases by 88% compared to 2017.
Ole Rosgaard, Senior Vice President and Group President, earned $1.9M in 2018, a 92% increase compared to previous year.
Greif's fiscal year ends on October 31.
