H&R Block reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on August 1, 2018.
In 2018, six H&R Block executives received on average a compensation package of $3.5M, a 23% increase compared to previous year.
Jeffrey J. Jones II, Chief Executive Officer, received $12M in total. 67% of Jones' compensation, or $7.9M, was in stock awards. Jones also received $950K in bonus, $941K in non-equity incentive plan, $1.4M in option awards, $697K in salary, as well as $35K in other compensation.
Thomas A. Gerke, Chief Administrative Officer, received a compensation package of $4.3M, which increased by 94% compared to previous year. 59% of the compensation package, or $2.5M, was in stock awards.
Tony G. Bowen, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.9M in 2018, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Kathryn M. Collins, Former Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, received $1.8M in 2018, which increases by 48% compared to 2017.
Kellie J. Logerwell, Chief Accounting Officer, earned $620K in 2018.
William C. Cobb, Chief Executive Officer, received $595K in 2018, which decreases by 93% compared to 2017.
H&R Block's fiscal year ends on April 30.
