Hanesbrands reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on March 16, 2020.
In 2019, six executives at Hanesbrands received on average a compensation package of $1.8M, a 50% decrease compared to previous year.
Gerald W. Evans, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $4M in total, which decreased by 55% compared to 2018. 58% of Evans' compensation, or $2.3M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Evans also received $362K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.1M in salary, as well as $186K in other compensation.
Barry A. Hytinen, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.6M, which decreased by 41% compared to previous year. 50% of the compensation package, or $798K, was in non-equity incentive plan.
David L. Bortolussi, Group President, earned $1.4M in 2019.
W. Howard Upchurch, Group President, received $1.3M in 2019, which decreases by 42% compared to 2018.
Joia M. Johnson, Chief Administrative Officer, earned $1.3M in 2019, a 41% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael E. Faircloth, Group President, received $1.2M in 2019, which decreases by 42% compared to 2018.
Hanesbrands' fiscal year ends on January 1.
