Hanover Insurance Group reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 25, 2022.
In 2021, five executives at Hanover Insurance Group received on average a compensation package of $3.1M, a 2% increase compared to previous year.
John C. Roche, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.8M in total, which increased by 9% compared to 2020. 39% of Roche's compensation, or $2.6M, was in stock awards. Roche also received $2.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $875K in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $87K in other compensation.
Jeffrey M. Farber, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3.3M, which decreased by 2% compared to previous year. 36% of the compensation package, or $1.2M, was in stock awards.
Richard W. Lavey, EVP and President, Hanover Agency Markets, earned $2.1M in 2021, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Bryan J. Salvatore, EVP and President, Specialty, received $1.9M in 2021, which is about the same as previous year.
Dennis F. Kerrigan, General Counsel, earned $1.6M in 2021, a 9% decrease compared to previous year.
