HCI Group reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 28, 2020.
In 2019, five HCI Group executives received on average a compensation package of $1.7M, a 30% increase compared to previous year.
Paresh Patel, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.1M in total, which increased by 43% compared to 2018. 32% of Patel's compensation, or $1.9M, was in stock awards. Patel also received $1.6M in bonus, $1.3M in option awards, $950K in salary, as well as $314K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $41,017 at HCI Group. Therefore, the ratio of Paresh Patel's pay to the median employee pay was 148 to one.
Mark Harmsworth, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $637K, which increased by 2% compared to previous year. 50% of the compensation package, or $320K, was in salary.
Andrew L. Graham, General Counsel, earned $542K in 2019, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Karin Coleman, Executive Vice President and President, HCPCI, received $516K in 2019, which increases by 7% compared to 2018.
Anthony Saravanos, President, Real Estate Division, earned $507K in 2019, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
