HCP reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 14, 2019.
In 2018, six HCP executives received on average a compensation package of $5.9M, a 40% increase compared to previous year.
Scott M. Brinker, Chief Investment Officer, received $10M in total. 49% of Brinker's compensation, or $5M, was in stock awards. Brinker also received $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $542K in salary, as well as $3.1M in other compensation.
Thomas M. Herzog, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $8.6M, which increased by 18% compared to previous year. 56% of the compensation package, or $4.8M, was in stock awards.
Michael D. McKee, Chairman, earned $6.5M in 2018, a 26% increase compared to previous year.
Peter A. Scott, Chief Financial Officer, received $3.6M in 2018, which decreases by 37% compared to 2017.
Thomas M. Klaritch, Chief Operating Officer, earned $3.3M in 2018, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Troy E. McHenry, General Counsel, received $3.2M in 2018, which increases by 60% compared to 2017.
