Herbalife reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 15, 2022.
In 2021, six Herbalife executives received on average a compensation package of $3.1M, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
John Agwunobi, Chief Executive Officer, received $7M in total, which decreased by 3% compared to 2020. 64% of Agwunobi's compensation, or $4.5M, was in stock awards. Agwunobi also received $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $39K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $37,222 at Herbalife. Therefore, the ratio of John Agwunobi's pay to the median employee pay was 188 to one.
John G. DeSimone, President, received a compensation package of $3.6M, which decreased by 21% compared to previous year. 62% of the compensation package, or $2.2M, was in stock awards.
David Pezzullo, Senior Operations Advisor, earned $2.4M in 2021, a 15% decrease compared to previous year.
Alan L. Hoffman, Executive Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs, received $2.1M in 2021, which decreases by 17% compared to 2020.
Mark Schissel, Chief Operating Officer, earned $2M in 2021.
Alexander Amezquita, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.4M in 2021, which increases by 19% compared to 2020.
