Hologic CEO Stephen MacMillan's 2018 pay jumps 275% to $42M

Hologic reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on January 18, 2019.
In 2018, six Hologic executives received on average a compensation package of $8.7M, a 101% increase compared to previous year.
Stephen P. MacMillan, Chief Executive Officer, received $42M in total, which increased by 275% compared to 2017. 65% of MacMillan's compensation, or $27M, was in stock awards. MacMillan also received $1.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $12M in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $363K in other compensation.
Robert W. McMahon, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.5M, which decreased by 13% compared to previous year. 54% of the compensation package, or $1.4M, was in stock awards.
John M. Griffin, General Counsel, earned $2.4M in 2018, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Peter J. Valenti, III, Division President, Breast & Skeletal Health , received $2M in 2018, which decreases by 12% compared to 2017.
Thomas A. West, Division President , Diagnostics, earned $2M in 2018.
Karleen M. Oberton, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.1M in 2018.
Hologic's fiscal year ends on September 28.
