Illinois Tool Works reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 22, 2019.
In 2018, five executives at Illinois Tool Works received on average a compensation package of $6.7M, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.

Christopher A. O'Herlihy, Chairman, earned $4.8M in 2018, a 4% increase compared to previous year.
Sundaram Nagarajan, Executive Vice President, received $3.2M in 2018, which increases by 2% compared to 2017.
Steven L. Martindale, Executive Vice President, earned $2.8M in 2018.
