Illinois Tool Works reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 25, 2022.
In 2021, five executives at Illinois Tool Works received on average a compensation package of $8.2M, a 48% increase compared to previous year.
E. Scott Santi, Chief Executive Officer, received $21M in total, which increased by 48% compared to 2020. 36% of Santi's compensation, or $7.4M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Santi also received $767K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $6.2M in option awards, $1.4M in salary, $4.9M in stock awards, as well as $198K in other compensation.
Christopher A. O'Herlihy, Chairman, received a compensation package of $6.9M, which increased by 46% compared to previous year. 36% of the compensation package, or $2.5M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Michael M. Larsen, Chief Financial Officer, earned $6.5M in 2021, a 60% increase compared to previous year.
John R. Hartnett, Executive Vice President, received $3.5M in 2021, which increases by 55% compared to 2020.
Mary K. Lawler, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, earned $3.1M in 2021.
