IMAX reported fiscal year 2011 executive compensation information on April 24, 2013.
In 2011, seven IMAX executives received on average a compensation package of $1.8M, a 55% decrease compared to previous year.
Richard L. Gelfond, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.5M in total, which decreased by 58% compared to 2010. 58% of Gelfond's compensation, or $3.2M, was in option awards. Gelfond also received $500K in bonus, $930K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $750K in salary, as well as $128K in other compensation.
Larry O'Reilly, Executive Vice President, Sales & President, Worldwide Sales, received a compensation package of $1.6M, which decreased by 2% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $728K, was in other compensation.
Greg Foster, Chief Executive Officer, earned $1.3M in 2011, a 80% decrease compared to previous year.
Filmed Entertainment Mark Welton, President, IMAX Theatres, received $1.2M in 2011, which increases by 18% compared to 2010.
