IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond's 2020 pay slips 3% to $6.9M

IMAX reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 27, 2021.
In 2020, five IMAX executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, a 16% decrease compared to previous year.
Richard L. Gelfond, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.9M in total, which decreased by 3% compared to 2019. 79% of Gelfond's compensation, or $5.5M, was in stock awards. Gelfond also received $163K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.2M in salary, as well as $59K in other compensation.
Megan Colligan, President, IMAX Entertainment and Executive Vice President, received a compensation package of $2.6M, which decreased by 38% compared to previous year. 58% of the compensation package, or $1.5M, was in stock awards.
Patrick McClymont, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.2M in 2020, a 18% decrease compared to previous year.
Robert D. Lister, Chief Legal Officer, received $2.2M in 2020, which decreases by 16% compared to 2019.
Mark Welton, President, IMAX Theatres, earned $2M in 2020, a 16% decrease compared to previous year.
