Incyte reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on April 8, 2009.
In 2008, five Incyte executives received on average a compensation package of $1.2M, a 15% increase compared to previous year.
Paul A. Friedman, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.1M in total, which increased by 14% compared to 2007. 50% of Friedman's compensation, or $1.1M, was in option awards. Friedman also received $432K in non-equity incentive plan, $588K in salary, as well as $11K in other compensation.
Brian W. Metcalf, Executive Vice President and Chief Drug Discovery Scientist, received a compensation package of $1.2M, which increased by 13% compared to previous year. 45% of the compensation package, or $526K, was in option awards.
David C. Hastings, Chief Financial Officer, earned $993K in 2008, a 18% increase compared to previous year.
Paula J. Swain, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, received $990K in 2008, which increases by 18% compared to 2007.
Patricia A. Schreck, General Counsel, earned $919K in 2008, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
