Incyte reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 18, 2012.
In 2009, five Incyte executives received on average a compensation package of $889K, a 28% decrease compared to previous year.
Paul A. Friedman, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.5M in total, which decreased by 28% compared to 2008. 41% of Friedman's compensation, or $611K, was in non-equity incentive plan. Friedman also received $291K in option awards, $591K in salary, as well as $11K in other compensation.
Brian W. Metcalf, Executive Vice President and Chief Drug Discovery Scientist, received a compensation package of $863K, which decreased by 26% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $400K, was in salary.
Patricia S. Andrews, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, earned $724K in 2009.
David C. Hastings, Chief Financial Officer, received $678K in 2009, which decreases by 32% compared to 2008.
Paula J. Swain, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, earned $675K in 2009, a 32% decrease compared to previous year.
