Intuit reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on November 25, 2020.
In 2020, six Intuit executives received on average a compensation package of $12M, a 2% decrease compared to previous year.
Sasan K. Goodarzi, Chief Executive Officer, received $20M in total, which increased by 16% compared to 2019. 64% of Goodarzi's compensation, or $13M, was in stock awards. Goodarzi also received $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $4.8M in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $10K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $167,164 at Intuit. Therefore, the ratio of Sasan K. Goodarzi's pay to the median employee pay was 122 to one.
Marianna Tessel, Chief Technology Officer, received a compensation package of $11M. 65% of the compensation package, or $7.2M, was in stock awards.
Gregory N. Johnson, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Group, earned $11M in 2020, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Michelle M. Clatterbuck, Chief Financial Officer, received $9.6M in 2020, which increases by 10% compared to 2019.
Laura A. Fennell, Executive Vice President and Chief People & Places Officer, earned $9M in 2020, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
J. Alexander Chriss, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Small Business and Self-Employed Group, received $8.5M in 2020, which decreases by 31% compared to 2019.
Intuit's fiscal year ends on July 31.
