Intuit reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on November 23, 2022.
In 2021, six Intuit executives received on average a compensation package of $14M, a 21% increase compared to previous year.
Sasan K. Goodarzi, Chief Executive Officer, received $25M in total, which increased by 23% compared to 2020. 64% of Goodarzi's compensation, or $16M, was in stock awards. Goodarzi also received $2.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $5.8M in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $10K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $176,342 at Intuit. Therefore, the ratio of Sasan K. Goodarzi's pay to the median employee pay was 141 to one.
Marianna Tessel, Chief Technology Officer, received a compensation package of $13M, which increased by 15% compared to previous year. 66% of the compensation package, or $8.4M, was in stock awards.
J. Alexander Chriss, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Small Business and Self-Employed Group, earned $13M in 2021, a 49% increase compared to previous year.
Gregory N. Johnson, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Group, received $13M in 2021, which increases by 15% compared to 2020.
Michelle M. Clatterbuck, Chief Financial Officer, earned $11M in 2021, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
Laura A. Fennell, Executive Vice President and Chief People & Places Officer, received $10M in 2021, which increases by 13% compared to 2020.
Intuit's fiscal year ends on July 31.
