iStar reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 9, 2019.
In 2018, five iStar executives received on average a compensation package of $3.5M, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
Jay Sugarman, Chief Executive Officer, received $6M in total, which increased by 6% compared to 2017. 83% of Sugarman's compensation, or $5M, was in stock awards. Sugarman also received $1M in salary and $12K in other compensation.
Marcos Alvarado, Chief Investment Officer, received a compensation package of $5.5M. 57% of the compensation package, or $3.1M, was in stock awards.
Andrew Richardson, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.6M in 2018.
Nina Matis, Chief Legal Officer, received $2.4M in 2018, which decreases by 34% compared to 2017.
Geoffrey Jervis, Chief Financial Officer, earned $954K in 2018, a 78% decrease compared to previous year.
