iStar reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 9, 2020.
In 2019, four iStar executives received on average a compensation package of $2.9M, a 18% decrease compared to previous year.
Marcos Alvarado, Chief Investment Officer, received $4.9M in total, which decreased by 11% compared to 2018. 45% of Alvarado's compensation, or $2.2M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Alvarado also received $500K in salary, $2.2M in stock awards, as well as $11K in other compensation.
Jay Sugarman, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $4.4M, which decreased by 27% compared to previous year. 77% of the compensation package, or $3.3M, was in stock awards.
Nina Matis, Chief Legal Officer, earned $1.3M in 2019, a 45% decrease compared to previous year.
Andrew Richardson, Chief Financial Officer, received $894K in 2019, which decreases by 65% compared to 2018.
