ITC Holdings reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 15, 2010.
In 2009, six executives at ITC Holdings received on average a compensation package of $2.2M, a 16% decrease compared to previous year.
Joseph L. Welch, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.9M in total, which decreased by 37% compared to 2008. 31% of Welch's compensation, or $1.5M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Welch also received $1.2M in bonus, $147K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $555K in option awards, $738K in salary, $635K in stock awards, as well as $149K in other compensation.
Cameron M. Bready, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2M. 36% of the compensation package, or $718K, was in stock awards.
Linda H. Blair, EVP & CBO, earned $1.7M in 2009, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
Jon E. Jipping, Chief Operating Officer, received $1.7M in 2009, which increases by 15% compared to 2008.
Edward M. Rahill, SVP, President — ITC Grid Development, earned $1.6M in 2009, a 19% increase compared to previous year.
Daniel J. Oginsky, General Counsel, received $1.4M in 2009, which increases by 32% compared to 2008.
