Kadant reported fiscal year 2007 executive compensation information on April 11, 2008.
In 2007, five Kadant executives received on average a compensation package of $1.6M, a 75% increase compared to previous year.
William A. Rainville, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.1M in total, which increased by 107% compared to 2006. 44% of Rainville's compensation, or $1.8M, was in stock awards. Rainville also received $117K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $610K in salary, as well as $28K in other compensation.

Jonathan W. Painter, Chief Operating Officer, received $859K in 2007, which increases by 82% compared to 2006.
Eric T. Langevin, Senior Vice President, earned $835K in 2007.
Kadant's fiscal year ends on January 1.
