Landstar System reported fiscal year 2012 executive compensation information on April 11, 2013.
In 2012, five executives at Landstar System received on average a compensation package of $1.7M, a 42% increase compared to previous year.
Henry H. Gerkens, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.2M in total, which decreased by 18% compared to 2011. 72% of Gerkens' compensation, or $1.6M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Gerkens also received $62K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $500K in salary, as well as $32K in other compensation.
James B. Gattoni, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2M, which increased by 68% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $806K, was in stock awards.
Patrick J. O'Malley, Vice President and Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, earned $1.5M in 2012, a 56% increase compared to previous year.
Joseph J. Beacom, Vice President and Chief Safety and Operations Officer, received $1.5M in 2012, which increases by 86% compared to 2011.
Michael K. Kneller, General Counsel, earned $1.5M in 2012, a 64% increase compared to previous year.
Landstar System's fiscal year ends on December 28.
