Zafgen reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 26, 2019.
In 2018, four Zafgen executives received on average a compensation package of $1.8M, a 9% decrease compared to previous year.
Jeffrey S. Hatfield, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.5M in total, which decreased by 45% compared to 2017. 70% of Hatfield's compensation, or $1.7M, was in option awards. Hatfield also received $155K in non-equity incentive plan, $518K in salary, as well as $75K in other compensation.
Thomas E. Hughes, Chief Scientific Officer, received a compensation package of $2.1M, which increased by 2% compared to previous year. 82% of the compensation package, or $1.7M, was in option awards.
Brian P. McVeigh, Chief Business Officer, earned $1.5M in 2018.
Dennis D. Kim, Chief Medical Officer, received $1.3M in 2018, which increases by 64% compared to 2017.
