Liberty Global reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on May 21, 2020.
In 2019, five executives at Liberty Global received on average a compensation package of $35M, a 167% increase compared to previous year.
Michael T. Fries, Chief Executive Officer, received $123M in total, which increased by 273% compared to 2018. 64% of Fries' compensation, or $79M, was in stock awards. Fries also received $5M in bonus, $148K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $15M in non-equity incentive plan, $20M in option awards, $2.4M in salary, as well as $1.1M in other compensation.
