Liberty Media reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 24, 2019.
In 2018, five executives at Liberty Media received on average a compensation package of $6M, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Gregory B. Maffei, Chief Executive Officer, received $20M in total, which increased by 2% compared to 2017. 44% of Maffei's compensation, or $8.8M, was in option awards. Maffei also received $398K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $6.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.1M in salary, $3M in stock awards, as well as $416K in other compensation.
