LINDE PLC reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 29, 2020.
In 2019, five LINDE PLC executives received on average a compensation package of $10M, a 47% decrease compared to previous year.
Stephen F. Angel, Chief Executive Officer, received $22M in total, which decreased by 66% compared to 2018. 41% of Angel's compensation, or $9.1M, was in stock awards. Angel also received $3.6M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $4.2M in option awards, $1.5M in salary, as well as $358K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $43,216 at LINDE PLC. Therefore, the ratio of Stephen F. Angel's pay to the median employee pay was 520 to one.
Eduardo F. Menezes, Executive Vice President, EMEA, received a compensation package of $8.8M, which decreased by 48% compared to previous year. 37% of the compensation package, or $3.2M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
Sanjiv Lamba, Executive Vice President, APAC, earned $7.5M in 2019, a 71% increase compared to previous year.
