LINDE PLC reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on May 2, 2022.
In 2021, five LINDE PLC executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 38% increase compared to previous year.
Stephen F. Angel, Chief Executive Officer, received $31M in total, which increased by 69% compared to 2020. 34% of Angel's compensation, or $11M, was in stock awards. Angel also received $8.5M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $5.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $5M in option awards, $1.6M in salary, as well as $298K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $40,659 at LINDE PLC. Therefore, the ratio of Stephen F. Angel's pay to the median employee pay was 773 to one.
Sanjiv Lamba, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $13M, which increased by 149% compared to previous year. 26% of the compensation package, or $3.3M, was in stock awards.
John M. Panikar, Executive Vice President, APAC, earned $9.4M in 2021.
Matthew J. White, Chief Financial Officer, received $6.9M in 2021, which increases by 43% compared to 2020.
Sean F. Durbin, Executive Vice President, EMEA, earned $4.9M in 2021.
