CenturyLink CEO Glen Post's 2007 pay jumps 64% to $9M

CenturyLink reported fiscal year 2007 executive compensation information on March 27, 2008.
In 2007, six executives at CenturyLink received on average a compensation package of $3.3M, a 40% increase compared to previous year.
Glen F. Post, III, Chief Executive Officer, received $9M in total, which increased by 64% compared to 2006. 51% of Post's compensation, or $4.6M, was in option awards. Post also received $1.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, $1.4M in stock awards, as well as $567K in other compensation.
Karen A. Puckett, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $2.9M, which increased by 35% compared to previous year. 24% of the compensation package, or $715K, was in non-equity incentive plan.
R. Stewart Ewing, Jr, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.9M in 2007, a 15% increase compared to previous year.
Michael E. Maslowski, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, received $1.7M in 2007, which increases by 24% compared to 2006.
David D. Cole, Senior Vice President Operations Support, earned $1.6M in 2007, a 21% increase compared to previous year.
Stacey W. Goff, General Counsel, received $1.6M in 2007, which increases by 33% compared to 2006.
