MACOM CEO John Croteau's 2018 pay rises 20% to $5.1M

MACOM reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on January 16, 2019.
In 2018, five MACOM executives received on average a compensation package of $2.6M, a 13% decrease compared to previous year.
John Croteau, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.1M in total, which increased by 20% compared to 2017. 61% of Croteau's compensation, or $3.1M, was in option awards. Croteau also received $673K in salary, $1.3M in stock awards, as well as $9.5K in other compensation.
Vivek Rajgarhia, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Lightwave, received a compensation package of $2.5M. 67% of the compensation package, or $1.7M, was in stock awards.
Preetinder Virk, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Networks, earned $2.5M in 2018, a 89% increase compared to previous year.
Robert McMullan, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.6M in 2018, which increases by 2% compared to 2017.
Robert Dennehy, Senior Vice President, Operations, earned $1.2M in 2018, a 13% decrease compared to previous year.
MACOM's fiscal year ends on September 29.
